Mersadies - Owner/CEO/COO

Mersadies is the visionary co-founder, CEO, and COO of The Fellas Barber Shop. Launching the brand in 2018, she set out to create a space where clients receive five-star experiences and barbers thrive in a supportive, service-driven environment. Despite not completing high school, Mersadies began her journey in a franchise men’s salon but quickly realized her dream of building something more personal. As a female leader in a traditionally male-dominated industry, she’s built a team of like-minded professionals who share her passion for quality and community impact.

Supported by her husband, Jeramy, and their five children, Mersadies has transformed her dream into one of Utah’s fastest-growing family-owned businesses. Her leadership continues to inspire her team to deliver exceptional service while making meaningful connections with clients and the community.

Jeramy - Owner/CMO

As co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer, Jeramy is the driving force behind The Fellas Barber Shop’s marketing strategies and brand development. With a data-driven and creative approach, he collaborates closely with Scale Up Media—a renowned marketing agency—to design campaigns that resonate with customers and strengthen the brand’s presence.

Jeramy’s dedication to building lasting relationships with clients and partners ensures that The Fellas not only attracts new customers but also fosters loyalty among its existing clientele. His innovative strategies have been instrumental in the company’s rapid growth and market positioning.

Nellie - CFO

Nellie wears two hats as both Chief Financial Officer and Executive Assistant to the CEO. She seamlessly blends her expertise in finance with exceptional organizational skills, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure the company’s fiscal health aligns with its goals.

In her role as Executive Assistant, Nellie manages scheduling, communications, and key partnerships, ensuring the leadership team operates efficiently. Her multi-faceted contributions are vital to maintaining the smooth flow of operations across all locations.

Colleen - CSO

Colleen serves as the Chief Sales Officer, bringing over 20 years of executive marketing experience to The Fellas Barber Shop. Her proven ability to craft strategic, results-driven marketing plans has accelerated the brand’s growth and enhanced its visibility.

With a deep understanding of market dynamics, Colleen identifies new opportunities, builds high-performing teams, and drives transformative success. Her innovative strategies ensure that The Fellas continues to strengthen relationships with customers and partners while expanding its reach.

Jorge - Director of New Business Development

Jorge’s extensive experience in scaling companies across the U.S. and Canada makes him an invaluable asset as the Director of New Business Development. He’s responsible for identifying growth opportunities, developing client relationships, and strategizing market expansion.

Jorge’s “Less is More” philosophy optimizes efficiency and simplifies processes, enabling The Fellas to achieve financial success while maintaining its high standards. His partnership with Mersadies, which began as a friendship over five years ago, has been a cornerstone of the brand’s rapid expansion. Outside of work, Jorge enjoys reading, riding motorcycles, and spending time with friends and family.

Ciara - Director of Operations

As the Director of Operations, Ciara oversees the day-to-day activities of each location, working closely with management teams to ensure seamless operations. Her diverse business background provides a unique perspective, allowing her to tackle everything from revenue management to events and sales.

Ciara is deeply committed to supporting The Fellas Barber Shop’s growth, ensuring short-term needs are met while keeping long-term goals on track. Her dedication plays a pivotal role in the company’s continued success.
